ZIMMERMAN, JOHN — 71, died Aug. 31 of complications from heart surgery.

He was editor of the Weekly of Business Aviation and the first aerospace reporter at The Wichita Eagle (from 1960 to 1965). Prior to working at the Eagle, Zimmerman lived in Japan where he worked for The Associated Press.
