The Marketplace portlet to the left of the home page allows users at participating Newspapers to access their contributed news (Text, Photos or Graphics) as well as news contributed by other Marketplace users. To view Marketplace content, click the appropriate category name (Ex: State Marketplace); then click the desired news topic within the category (Ex: Politics). |

Contributing News |

To contribute news to the Marketplace, click the Manage link in the Navigation bar; then, click Contribute under the Marketplace heading. The Contribute Story page appears. Specify all required information (pink highlighted boxes) as well as any other information that you would like to define for this news item. Tips: When done: Click… Save _ to save the news item without submitting it to the Marketplace. Publish _ to submit your news item to the Marketplace, so users can access it. Preview _ to view your created news item in a separate window. Note: You can preview your news item any time during its creation. |

Managing News |

The Contribution Lineup page allows you to view and manage all of your saved or published news items created from the Contribute Story page. Saved items are listed under Not Yet Published Documents; published items, including items submitted to the Digital Cooperative for content enrichment, are listed under Published Documents. To open the Contribution Lineup page, click Manage in the Navigation bar. Then, click Lineup under the Marketplace heading. To publish or remove items, select the corresponding checkboxes and click Commit. To send one of the listed items to Marketplace, click Publish to Marketplace. To edit an item, click its content icon: text, photo or graphic. The story's contribute story box will open. Then click on correct and make the correction. To kill an item, select the correspondent checkbox below the item. Click stats to learn the number of the times the story was viewed, downloaded, updated or corrected.
