Kentucky primary looms:

Is your Web site a place where readers can find real-time results?

If your readers expect real-time results from your Web site, you should seriously consider AP special elections service for the upcoming May 20 Kentucky primary.

With a wide-open race for the White House and the balance of power in Congress up for grabs again, AP’s special election services have become more essential than ever.

The AP's commitment to accuracy on election night is unsurpassed. Quality control teams check every election result and reporters are in contact with every local election office in the nation. No one else -- in the media or outside -- can offer that assurance.

Special elections service includes access to pre-election content for newspaper Web sites to help build reader interest now through the general election. Also included is AP's Politics Web site, a research and reporting resource with real-time political news coverage from around the nation, along with additional research tools to help reporters, and AP Vote Count, an online reference tool that offers access to real-time results throughout election night on the county, state and national level.

Election results and pre-election content are delivered via satellite in ANPA, via Internet FTP in delimited text, XML and HTML formats, and on an AP-hosted site.
