Reporter Don Haney, KFGO Radio, Fargo, called from the field around 12:45 a.m. on April 4 and offered information on the Fargo kidnapping suspect shot and wounded by police in Moorhead.

FEBRUARY
Aaron Ziemer, KMHL Radio, Marshall, for alerting the AP about the Feb. 21 arrest of the driver of a van that struck a school bus in southwestern Minnesota, killing four students.

JANUARY
Bruce Hagevik, WCCO-AM, Minneapolis, for sharing information about an early Sunday police chase that ended with the suspect crashing into a house in New Hope and dying on Jan. 27.
