Jennifer Castor joined the television news profession almost 15 years ago. Her first job was in Harrisburg, PA at WHTM as a photographer and editor. Her career soon took her to Denver where she worked at KUSA. It was in Denver that she experienced creativity and excellence on a daily basis. She currently works at KMGH-TV in Denver. In 8 years at KMGH, the newsroom has made some big changes. Jennifer is now one of two photojournalists at KMGH who have embraced the "backpack journalist" adventure. On a weekly basis she covers a variety of stories, alone. For each story she now shoots the video, writes the script, edits the package, tracks the script, and rewrites it for the web. It’s a view of the future, and it can be done! Join the NATAS Heartland Chapter www.emmyawards.tv |
