A moose challenges traffic on Interstate 93 on Feb. 17 just south of Concord. The moose was at the scene for several hours disrupting traffic as it wandered on and off the highway. It was eventually destroyed by a state fish and game officer who believed the moose was suffering from brain worm and posed a threat to drivers.

Brattleboro (Vt.) Reformer
A bus carrying skiers and snowboarders to Okemo Mountain Resort lies on its side in the median of Interstate 91 in Brattleboro, Vt., on Feb. 17. About 31 of the 51 people aboard were treated for injuries. The chartered bus was carrying members of the Boston Ski and Sport Club. The Reformer offered the photo to the network in cycle. |
