Ron Bellafato

Ron Bellafato

Ron Bellafato is the chief of communications for The Associated Press in Oklahoma City. He and technicians Larry Hamlin and Harold Percival help members with any technical problems they may have in receiving the AP news and photo report.

Ron is from Mount Kisco, New York. He started with the AP in East Brunswick, N.J., as a technician in October 1983.

He held positions as a field engineer, operations manager and technical service manager before joining the Oklahoma City bureau in 1991.

Ron and his wife have three children, ages 19, 16, 10.

In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, swimming and working on projects around the house.

Harold Percival Larry Hamlin
Harold PercivalHarold has been with the AP for 23 years in the Oklahoma City bureau. He came to the AP from Western Union Data Services in Amarillo, Texas.

Harold served three years in the U.S. Army where he graduated from electronics school, high speed teletype school and crypto school.

Harold and his wife, Nancy, live in Oklahoma City. They have three daughters ages, 22, 25 and 28.
