Cara Robertson

Cara Robertson is the administrative assistant at the Oklahoma City AP bureau. She is often the first point of contact for members who call the bureau.

She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in fine arts and is a graduate of the Wright Business School.

Cara was hired by The Associated Press on May 13, 1992 after previous jobs as a paste-up artist, secretary for an engineering firm, cabinet shop worker, waitress and summer farm hand.

As a child, Cara spent almost three years in rural Mexico where her parents were missionaries.

Cara, who is married and has two children, ages 9 and 12, is active in St. Luke's Methodist Church and enjoys quilting, crafts, home improvement projects, lake trips and sports (watching and playing).
