Bouryal
named assistant bureau chief for Pennsylvania
PHILADELPHIA -- Kristie
Kiernan Bouryal, director of news coverage and editorial for
ABCNEWS Digital in New York, has been appointed assistant
chief of bureau for The Associated Press in Pennsylvania.
The appointment was
announced Feb. 23 by Sally Carpenter Hale, Pennsylvania chief
of bureau.
Before moving to ABC's
online division, Bouryal was manager of news and programming
for ABC News Radio in New York. She also founded the Affiliate
Services Unit of ABC News Radio.
Bouryal holds a bachelor's
degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.
She succeeds Jodie
DeJonge, who was named chief of bureau in Trenton, N.J.
