appointed AP news editor in North Carolina
RALEIGH, N.C. --
David T. Scott, day supervisor for The Associated Press for
Missouri and Kansas, has been appointed news editor for North
Carolina.
The appointment was announced April 1 by Chief of Bureau Sue
Price Wilson.
Scott began working for The Associated Press in St. Louis,
covering the city and eastern Missouri before moving to Kansas
City as night supervisor in 2003. He served as the day supervisor
for the two-state region since January 2004.
In December, Scott was named the Fred W. Moen Missouri-Kansas
2004 AP Staffer of the Year.
A native of Milwaukee, Scott attended the University of Missouri-Columbia
and interned at The Washington Times and the Milwaukee Journal
Sentinel.
