Chad Roedemeier appointed AP's assistant chief of bureau for
New York
NEW YORK -- Chad Roedemeier, news editor for The Associated
Press in Tennessee since 2003, has been named assistant chief
of bureau for New York.
The appointment was announced Nov. 9 by New York Chief of
Bureau Howard Goldberg.
Roedemeier joined the AP in Atlanta in 1999 and spent four
years there as a reporter and day supervisor.
Born in Paducah, Ky., Roedemeier graduated from the University
of Virginia and worked at newspapers in Vidalia and Dalton,
Ga., before joining the AP.
