Associated Press Statement on Videotape
of Kidnapped Italian Journalist
The Associated Press has received a videotape of a kidnapped
Italian journalist. The tape was provided anonymously Feb.
15 to Associated Press Television News in Baghdad. APTN has
had no contact with the kidnappers. There was no indication
from the tape when or where it was made.
