Hall of Fame

Winners are selected Annually by the MAPBA Board of Directors. Those eligible for induction include: reporters, producers, anchors, news directors, photographers, and other news staff who have worked in the State of Mississippi a minimum of five year. Winners represent journalists with distinguishable broadcasting careers in Mississippi, some of whom have been inducted posthumously.

For off-air nominees, stations or individual broadcasters may submit entries in the form of a half-page written statement. For on-air nominees, stations or individual broadcasters may submit entries in the form of a half-page written statement AND provide supporting materials in the form of a video or audio presentation.
