Here is the announcement you’ve been waiting for:

 
The Pennsylvania AP Broadcasters Association’s e-contest web site is up and running.

You may begin submitting your contest entries immediately.
You will access the online contest through the Better Newspaper Contest website athttp://www.betterbnc.com. Your initial password will be bnc.

Attached to this email you will find four files:
1. e-Contest Log-In and Submission Instructions
2. e-Contest Categories and Judging Policy
3. e-Contest Online Tutorial
4. e-Contest Payment Form

The contest tutorial is attached should you require assistance submitting entries.
Again this year the number of entries you are permitted to submit has been uncapped. With the exception of the Newscast and Sportscast categories – where the number remains one each – you may submit as many entries as you would like.

The deadline for entries is 12:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012. The preliminary list of winners will be announced on the wire and by email on March 15, 2012, and the final list of winners will be announced at the PAPBA convention on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Hilton in Harrisburg, Pa. Payment deadline is Monday, February 6, 2012.
