October 2009 Photo of the Month Winner

J. Miles Cary of The News Sentinel is the winner of the Tennessee member photo contribution of the month for October for his photo of Gary Christian, the father of murder victim Channon Christian, reacting as a jury returns with a verdict against Lemaricus Davidson on Oct. 28, 2009, in Knoxville, Tenn.
Cary will receive $100 and his winning photo will be showcased on PhotoStream. Members are urged to transmit news and feature photos to the AP on a daily basis in order to produce a strong daily photo report, and each picture transmitted will be considered for the award.
