The archives include the records of the Board of Directors and CEO, administrative departments and the bureaus. Special collections include the personal papers of AP journalists, oral history interviews, film and video, sound recordings, photographs, artifacts, internal publications and general reference works on AP and American journalism.
The paper-based collections of the Corporate Archives occupy 3,535 linear feet and the digital collections occupy 34 TB. More than two million pages of our holdings have been digitized and are available for consultation online in our reading room.

To transfer or donate materials
Archives staff members work with bureaus, offices and staffers to transfer records of enduring value that are no longer needed for current business.
