Russia holds a nationwide vote on 1 July on constitutional amendments that would allow President Vladimir Putin to extend his rule until 2036.

AP brings you a range of services tailored to your needs.

If approved, the amendments would effectively reset the clock on Putin’s tenure, allowing him to seek – if he chooses - two more six-year terms in office after his current term ends in 2024.

The plebiscite was initially set for 22 April but was postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak.
