Arrest of 82-year-old in 1976 double killing stuns small Wisconsin town

After an 82-year-old man was suddenly arrested in small-town Wisconsin for a 43-year-old double killing, newsman Ivan Moreno dug deep into the past of suspect Ray Vannieuwenhoven, delivering the chilling tale of Ray Vannieuwenhoven, who just might be a murderer. New York researchers Jennifer Farrar and Rhonda Shafner provided long lists of neighbors and relatives. Only one neighbor returned Moreno’s call, but it was the suspect’s next-door neighbor, who wound up leading Moreno on a tour of the town that connected him to more sources. Reaching relatives was especially difficult due to the age of the case, but Moreno managed to reach one for each victim.
