Awards and recognition

The outstanding work of our journalists has been recognized with numerous awards, including 52 Pulitzer Prizes.

We’ve won 52 Pulitzer Prizes, including 31 for photography, since the award was established in 1917. In 2016, we received the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for our international investigation of the fishing industry in Southeast Asia, which freed more than 2,000 slaves and traced the seafood they caught to supermarkets and pet food providers across the U.S.

Sometimes one image tells the whole story. Our photojournalists often capture moments that are so compelling that they become iconic. Take a look at some of our award-winning photos.

Read about our achievements during the past year in our 2015 Annual Report. Our chairman and CEO provide a look into our current business position.
