For broadcast customers, AP360 will offer production support across the U.S., Mexico and Canada, including live stand-up positions, studios, crews, transmission, workspace and AP reporters for custom live shots.
Nico Maounis, AP’s director of global news events, said AP360 will provide locations with iconic backdrops in key cities, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Houston, Austin, Miami, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Toronto.
The service is designed for both rights holders and non-rights holders. Because many AP360 locations will be outside secure stadium perimeters, broadcasters can bring guests, crews and contributors without requiring stadium accreditation.
AP360 can also support organizations that do not have teams on the ground, offering AP reporters for custom live shots and daily wraps in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Arabic.
