Update: AP called the Iowa Democratic caucuses for Hillary Clinton just after 1 p.m. ET after the state party said it had finalized all results and planned no recount and after Bernie Sanders’ campaign said it did not intend to ask for a recount.

Here is AP’s story: http://apne.ws/1SCIFZJ.

The Associated Press had issued the following advisory to its member news organizations and customers at 11:34 a.m. ET today:

Editors:

The Iowa Democratic caucusesremain too close to call with a difference of less than three-tenths of 1percent with all but one precinct reporting. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders hasnot conceded and the state Democratic Party has not responded to AP’s questionsabout whether they intend to do a recount of the caucus reports of candidatesupport.

The party’s delegate selectionplan requires that the state party certify the results and report them to the DemocraticNational Committee within three days of that certification. But the plan doesnot spell out what such a certification would involve. The AP will continue toreport on developments and will advise with any updates.
