AP adds 5 video producers
In a note to staff, Executive Producer for Global Video Production Samira Becirovic announced the addition of five new producers based in India who will help strengthen AP’s expansive visual journalism offering for customers and audiences around the world:

We are pleased to announce the addition of five new producers based in India:
- Faisal Mohammad has worked for nine years at TRT World in Turkey and India, and serves as editor for Free Press Kashmir.
- Soham Mitra worked at Slow News, CNN and other outlets.
- You should know Chaitanya Pandey from the London newsroom over the past two years after he graduated from City, University of London.
- Ilma Hasan has worked for CNN, NPR, The Intercept, and many other publications, most recently serving as the BBC’s East India reporter.
- Navya Asopa is a recent graduate of Columbia Journalism School who has been freelancing with BBC News India in New York.
