AP statement about bombings suspect
Vice President and Director of Media Relations Paul Colford issued this statement Tuesday:
In 2011, Ahmad Khan Rahami worked as an unarmed night guard for a security company retained by The Associated Press to guard an AP administrative office in Cranbury, New Jersey.
During Rahami’s employment with the firm, Summit Security Services, he was assigned to the AP office for a total of roughly two months.
AP has told law enforcement officials about Rahami’s work at the Cranbury facility.
