Matt Chandler named news director for Latin America

We’re happy to share the news that Matt Chandler, executive producer for video in London, has been appointed News Director for Latin America and the Caribbean.

This completes the team of AP’s international news directors, with Matt joining News Director for Europe and Africa Anna Johnson, Asia-Pacific News Director Adam Schreck and Middle East News Director Karin Laub in what is a fantastically strong lineup.

Matt joined AP in 2016 as an executive producer for video in London. He has previous experience in Latin America, as you’ll see. His move to Latin America will put AP in a very strong position in an important market and build on the success of his predecessors.
