Eric Charbonneau, a renowned entertainment photographer with over 25 years of experience, today signed with Invision, the multimedia entertainment agency jointly owned by The Associated Press and some of the world's leading entertainment photographers.
Charbonneau’s addition builds on Invision’s growing lineup of top-tier photographers, which includes John Shearer, Jon Furniss, Jordan Strauss, Matt Sayles, Todd Williamson, Casey Rodgers, Victoria Will, Evan Agostini, and Chris Pizzello among others.
“Eric brings a wealth of experience to the Invision team and helps us increase our focus on providing best-in-class entertainment photography and assignment services,” said Dan Becker, managing director of Invision.
Based in Los Angeles, Charbonneau will leverage his well-established professional relationships with Hollywood studios to provide premium coverage of premieres, red carpet events and celebrities. Charbonneau has covered Hollywood for more than two decades, working with major film studios, actors, musicians, charities and publications, as well many notable political figures around the world.
Charbonneau’s work for Invision will be available via AP Images, the commercial photo unit of AP, at www.apimages.com.
“We’re thrilled to make the work of talented photographers like Invision’s Eric Charbonneau available to our customers,” said Fernando Ferre, vice president of AP Images. “We’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our collection of images, the largest held by any news organization in the world.”
AP Images has recently announced agreements with several creative image companies and renewed its exclusive contract with the National Football League to provide NFL photos for commercial purposes. In addition, AP Images is rolling out a new platform with upgraded e-commerce and search functions to allow customers to more easily capitalize on AP’s vast image offerings.
Invision also recently announced a partnership with The Hollywood Reporter, to act as the exclusive, credentialed photographer for THR, providing the entertainment industry’s flagship news media brand with compelling coverage of celebrities from the red carpet to the after parties that conclude the industry’s stellar evenings.
