The Associated Press’ live red carpet coverage from the Grammys and the Academy Awards will be featured on the largest network of fashion and beauty content on YouTube, StyleHaul.
In addition, iJustine, a YouTube personality who is part of the StyleHaul Network and who has nearly 2 million subscribers, will be working as a style expert with AP during the live streams.
StyleHaul has more than 3,700 channels on YouTube across 61 countries with more than 115 million subscribers.
“AP is always seeking innovative ways to distribute our content where publishers and consumers want it on smartphones, tablets or in the social space,” said Michael Dutton, AP’s global director for entertainment products. “We are thrilled to be working with StyleHaul to bring our outstanding entertainment experience to an even wider audience.”
The AP live red carpet coverage will be once again anchored by veteran entertainment news correspondent and host Michelle Marie. It will begin at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 26, for the Grammys and at 5:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 2, for the Oscars.
AP’s prime position on the red carpet and its strong reputation as a news provider has resulted in the past in one-on-one interviews with fan favorites such as Jennifer Lawrence, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, George Clooney, Nicki Minaj and Meryl Streep.
The AP’s live streams have been licensed to news outlets and other organizations worldwide, and featured on large public screens from downtown Tokyo to Brazil.
