The Associated Press and Arkadium today announced they will collaborate to integrate Arkadium’s InHabit artificial intelligence tool into AP’s professional football, college football and college basketball Digital News Experiences.
InHabit, the latest offering in Arkadium’s line of in-article solutions, is designed to elevate audience attention and engagement, strengthen brand loyalty and maximize revenue streams for publishers.
Its patent-pending technology reads any article and automatically inserts an interactive component designed to both engage the reader and factually and functionally extend the article in which it appears. Visitors to pro32.ap.org, collegefootball.ap.org and collegebasketball.ap.org will find the content in a selection of AP stories.
The interactive components, which the company calls “factives™,” are conceived and written by Arkadium’s in-house editorial staff and utilize artificial intelligence and big data sets to populate with contextual content. Each unit can serve potentially infinite variations of data. All content generated is relevant, sophisticated, timely and brand safe.
