AP Archive confirms licensing agreement with NewSource Globo

The Associated Press has signed an image licensing agreement with NewSource Globo, allowing it to distribute videos from the Globo collection to broadcasters around the world through its AP Archive platform. AP Archive already represents some of the most extensive collections from all over the world. NewSource Globo, which is Globo’s news and broadcasting services agency, joins a collection of partners including British Movietone and ABC News.

AP statement on changes in sports agate

Update on May 23, 2016: During the transition to a new sports data provider, all daily sports agate files were restored within three days and no statistics from any MLB game or playoff game in the NBA and NHL were interrupted. Most of the interruptions were to files that aren't as commonly used by AP members and customers. Nearly all weekly agate files also were restored without interruption.
