The Associated Press today announced the release of a groundbreaking new version of ENPS, the world’s most-installed newsroom production software.
ENPS Version 7 is a dramatic overhaul, featuring a new look, interface and tools to further enhance its existing capabilities. Its story-centric workflow was designed to meet the needs of integrated broadcast and digital newsrooms.
“This new version of ENPS brings our customers and prospects the most advanced news production system on the planet,” said Lee Perryman, director of ENPS. “It removes obstacles other systems put in the way of true multiplatform production.”
Among the highlights of Version 7:
More than half of all the broadcast news in the world is produced on ENPS, a vital cornerstone of AP’s product portfolio.
There is no charge for the upgrade to existing ENPS customers. New ENPS customers will receive the new version.
Two online demonstrations are planned for Friday, March 1, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET. To register, contact Wayne Ludkey at wludkey@ap.org.
