Julie Carr Smyth, correspondent, Columbus, Ohio; Angie Wang, video journalist; John Minchillo, photographer, Cincinnati; and Tony Dejak, photographer, Cleveland, produced a package that demonstrated how the vast majority of violent crime laws named for victims carry the names of white victims.
