Alexandra Olson, business reporter,New York, and Steven Senne, photographer,Boston, for a thoroughly reported, engaging narrative with compelling visuals, telling the story of a small New England newspaper that is doing all it can to buck the downsizing trend at a time when local journalism is dying across the country. News coverage of the journalism industry is a notoriously a tough sell with the public.
